I am a final-year student in the Department of Greek Philology at Democritus University of Thrace, with expected graduation in November 2026. My academic interests focus on language teaching, psycholinguistics, dyslexia, language development, and the teaching of Greek as a second or foreign language. During my teaching practicum at the Music School of Komotini, I observed contemporary teaching methods in a diverse lower-secondary school environment and delivered Modern Greek Language activities to second-year lower-secondary students, receiving a highly positive response. My aim is to make every lesson clear, well structured and adapted to each student’s individual needs, helping learners develop confidence, participate actively and make meaningful progress.

I place particular emphasis on patience, clear explanations and an individualised teaching approach. I adapt the pace, learning materials and exercises to each student’s level, learning needs and personal goals. My aim is not only to help students cover the school curriculum, but also to develop a deeper understanding of language, improve the organisation of their written work and gradually build their confidence. My academic background includes coursework in psycholinguistics, dyslexia, language development, autism, and the teaching of Greek as a second or foreign language. This allows me to approach each learner with flexibility, understanding and educational sensitivity. I am organised, reliable and committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and progressing at their own pace.
